New Release @ Promofabrik.com - Mona Mur & En Esch (Streetday: 15-02-09)
Mona Mur (also known for their collaboration with "Einstürzende Neubauten" and "Yello") and EN ESCH (EX-KMFDM) have been in studios since 2007 to record their first collaborative album „120 Tage – The Fine Art of Beauty and Violence“, which will be released in February 15th 2009.
„120 Tage – The Fine Art of Beauty and Violence“ contains eleven songs. One of these, „Die Ballade vom ertrunkenen Mädchen“, will appear in a modern setting, for the first time ever: Excited by the intensity and density of the other tracks, the Kurt-Weill-Stiftung allowed the transcription of this classic of the „Berliner Requiems“, which was heard only in original version until today.
The well-known multi-instrumentalist and producer ESCH has drastically transformed Mur's most intense 80s Songs into a unique blend of electronic drum loops, bass, dirty organ and wreckless feedback guitars.
Both musican operate Live together, too, since 2007. In the course of this they are supported by drummer Johann Bley (Juno Reactor, Killing Joke, Holger Hiller)
